Are you looking for knitting needles or hooks for your charity or not-for-profit group projects or events?  If so, then we can help!  We have older, discontinued needles ready to be donated to your not-for-profit group so they can be put to good use and support the fiber art community at the same time!  The following needles and hooks are available for donation:

9”, 13” & 14” Single Points in various sizes

6” & 8” Double Points in larger sizes

10” Double Points in limited quantities and sizes

Circulars in limited quantities and sizes

G-P Crochet Hooks

Requirements:

  1. Make up your “wish list” including type of needle, sizes, length and quantities. Please also include the name of your group, a contact name and phone number, and a brief description of your group including who you knit for or what you will use the needles for.

  2. The donation will be made through your local yarn shop (LYS), preferably through a ChiaoGoo retail customer.  In return, we encourage you and your group to support the LYS by any means possible.  Take your wish list and ask the LYS if they would be willing to assist you by contacting us for the needles.  They can contact us either by fax at (248) 457-1267 or email at info@chiaogoo.com.  You may not always get a positive response.  If this is the case, please thank them for their time and try to be understanding.

  3. Shipping and minimum handling costs are the responsibility of the charity group and must be paid by credit card (Master Card or Visa) at the time of shipping (UPS ground).  We will call the group contact person for all credit card information when the needles are ready to ship.

  4. The needles will be shipped to the LYS.

Donations will be made on first come, first serve basis.  We will do our best to fill your wish list, subject to availability, in a timely fasion.  However, keep in mind that it may take several weeks to arrive as service to our retailer customers takes priority.
